So, I'm looking to making content in a grain available statically - like an RSS feed powered by Quick Survey responses - and just want to confirm the general process:

1. Add small C program to repo and to setup.sh
2. Add JS method to fetch the ID published by that function. Tell people what that ID is (or the site directly)
3. Add JS method to update stuff in /var/www whenever it gets called

Does that sound right?
