Apple continues to run commercials lying about how "private" the iPhone is, while the news reported that they had "gigabytes" of data to turn over to the FBI in the military base shooting the other day. What that case involved is irrelevant. If they had gigabytes on that guy, they have gigabytes on everyone who has an Apple product. As Edward Snowden revealed, Apple joined the NSA's warrantless spying program "PRISM" about 1 year after Google did (2011 for Google and 2012 for Apple). Microsoft was the first member (2007). So we need to reject this proprietary software like Windows and Apple and MS Office. It's certainly not doing anything except taking your money, stopping you from having freedom of choice in software packages, and your iPhone will be state's witness at your trial if the government thinks any of the data it reports about you is interesting.
