"Sure the computer drops dead every so often at random because Apple products have a lot of bugs, Apple is removing features like crazy including kexts to ensure that the Mac takes another step in its devolution into a big iPhone, you get 2-3 OS updates which might not even cover all of 4 years since it was released, and if you try to repair an Apple product yourself you'll probably just finish it off and ensure that their store won't touch it.....Yet this is better than a PC with Linux somehow." "You need to taxi this thousand pound piece of shit into the shop to have its skull scooped out with a rusty spoon"? No, Apple waits for former humans to come into the store so it can replace them with pod people who have had their brains scooped out. It helps them get repeat business no matter how much worse their products are this time. On top of all the bugs in the software, 100% of Macs have Intel and all the bugs that go along with that. Including Meltdown, iffy (at best) power management, etc. So it's hard telling where your current problem is coming from with a machine designed by Frick and Frack. I'm certain you won't post this, but have a wonderful evening.
