Captain Brent Crozier's dismissal from the USS Roosevelt is now damaging Trump so badly that he sent Acting Navy Secretary to the ship to explain to the crew their Captain's dismissal.

The audio recording clearly shows the sailors shouting things like "BOOOOO!!!!!" and "What the f***!?".

It's getting so bad for Trump that he says he's considering throwing the Navy Secretary guy under the bus and re-instating Captain Crozier to the Roosevelt himself.

This is of course, political theater and damage control.

It's very clear that the order to get rid of Crozier came from Trump in the first place, and he piped it through the chain of command to avoid having it blow up on him later.

He can always fire the "acting" Navy Secretary and try not to get any on himself.
