Pretty much the only thing different between Biden and Trump here is that Biden realized that people would be patient with him, up until Summer, and then even though just as many people are dying of COVID as this point last year, all these restrictions are going away to keep the approval numbers up. It may survive COVID restrictions, or it may survive hyperinflation that _is_ unfolding, but not both, so he's gutting the restrictions. It's all political.
