Example for Temporals public cluster I stopped being able to run garbage collection 4 months ago. Every time I need to remove data the process is:
1) remove pins from cluster
2) take a node offline and out of the cluster
3) `rm -rf` the data directory
4) bring the node back online
5) resync to the cluster

Rinse and repeat for all other nodes in the cluster.

That's absurdly impractical and an insane level of overhead for the most basic functionality
