Also, just btw if you're undialable the fact that anything is rendering at all is basically by coincidence/timing. I suspect you happened to connect to a gateway node which meant it could ask you for the data since you have an ongoing connection, but since it cannot connect to you it's basically luck/probability that your DHT client eventually talked to the gateway peer.

Yes, the gateways cache data for a while so the second time you search for something on the same gateway twice in a row it'll be really fast the second time
