Nobody in the federal government is being tyrannical against conservative states. They're the ones getting more welfare and road money than they pay into the pot. They're the ones that get schools that are better than they can afford. They're the ones that wouldn't be able to afford their healthcare. In many cases, it's generational poverty and it was not that way in Indiana. They used to be a manufacturing and transportation hub and now it's just corn and poor people, and Trump spoke to them through the lens of resentment. When he got in, he passed an update of the trade deal that started the state's woes in the first place, with even more sacrifices to foreign countries that people in Indiana will have to make.
