I was looking at Kega Fusion. There were some "Linux binaries", but they're old and crusty and have not been ported to either a modern system or the x86-64 architecture. In the FAQ, it speaks of an Ubuntu release from 2011, which is not encouraging. I was wondering how much effort it might take to build a Flatpak with everything it depends on in it, and then sandbox the Flatpak as much as possible to try to nail down security issues that ever can't be fixed. Spiraling into madness, this is what life is like on Windows.... Since there's no source code, nobody could ever fix it properly even if they want to.
