Hello guys, I've reached the Point of no Return with Monero. After spending the last months only reading about Monero and privacy coins, I started feeling the same chills I got when I first read about Bitcoin (which has also changed my life). So now, I really want to contribute to the community for the long term as I'm convinced that this is the best crypto with the best research and community out there. I don't want to write a long text and waste your time so I will try to be brief. I'm willing to contribute by helping the Research Lab and by raising awareness of the importance of Monero, as I believe that my skills, knowledge and circumstances may be useful regarding these two topics. Therefore, I would like you guys to point me more precisely how I could help the Research Lab in a structured way. I would happily do anything like plotting some graphs, collecting data, testing algorithms, understanding equations for enriching discussions and etc. I will briefly tell a bit about myself and the vision I have for contributing to Monero: I'm 30 yo, brazilian, I have a few masters degrees like electronics (Brazil), optics (France), photonics (Germany) and cryptocurrencies (Cyprus) - btw not a very good investment but I was convinced by Antonoupoulos that I should learn more about cryptos by doing a masters but now I believe that I just spent money and did not acquire that much knowledge. Anyway, I'm a believer that it is never too late to repent and confess your sins so here I am now :p - I have always worked with engineering, programming and physics. My first internship was in France at INRIA coding in C++ for an open source project (7 years ago) and since then I worked in many companies related to engineering and the past three years I was working in Switzerland designing and testing the state-of- the-art optical microscope (which is nice to see it being used for biological applications and to understand what Corona is doing). Recently I quit my job in Switzerland to stay closer to my family in Brazil so now I have some time to dedicate to coding and promoting the values that I truly believe in. Although I'm not purely a mathematician or computer scientist, I have an enormous interest in these areas and some solid experience too so I believe that I can modestly contribute in some way to the community. If I could describe my life from 30 years from now, I would love to be an old guy writing code and sharing values about privacy, sound money and freedom as I believe that we are living in a much greater moral than health crisis. Therefore, it would be awesome to start contributing to Monero now and helping its ideology to spread. From the point of raising awareness, I'm building a website and opening a company in Brazil with an exchange license so I would create content in Portuguese (Brazil) so people can understand and use Monero and I would help people buy it eventually as it is not possible today to directly convert BRL / XMR. Voilà, here are my thoughts and I couldn't be more concise, sorry for that. Any advice, suggestions or comments would be very much appreciated and don't hesitate to contact me if I could be of any help :) Cheers!
