Christians when they've used the government to do something terrible and are trying to calm their victims down:

Every government is put here by God and we're to do what it says, even when they're wrong, because life on Earth is temporary and they'll get theirs.

Christians when the government does something they don't like:

"How dare these librals go against the Word a Gawd! We need to have a protest with machine guns and bomb the abortion doctors!"
