 this up. Most active content has major security issues, not just 
Javascript (which is terrible all by itself). Fonts and media codecs can
 be nasty, as all of the CVEs on FFmpeg and various font engines have 
shown. In Windows, font attacks can go all the way down into the 
kernel(!).  No current browser supports Acrobat or Java anymore. NPAPI 
is retained for Flash only in Firefox, for now, but is on the way out. 
Removed in Chromium a long time ago.
