Hollywood is joining the insane fight against open access vaccines. Fundamentally this is a problem of corruption buying advantages for the few at the disadvantage of the rest of us. Monopolies allow the inefficient collection of rents big enough to buy laws and influence. The extreme intellectual property laws of recent decades are one one way monopolies destroy competition and distort markets. ergo we must undermine IP wherever we can. Open access publishing of scientific research, libre software in science and patent free technology for anything discovered with public funding (ie almost all basic research - see mRNA tech).

At the very least open license and tech knowhow for COVID vaccines before we breed a most contagious and/or deadly virus.
