Oddly, Walmart might be better than "mom and pop" stores like we used to have.

Could you imagine them coordinating a massive supply chain and disinfecting their stores down to the last inch every night in the middle of this?

Walmart's logistics system can manage inventory much better. Things might still end up being in short supply, but there should at least be some kind of food for people to buy so that people are less likely to just starve.

In the absence of a president coordinating actual disaster relief because he thinks he'll win the election by downplaying this, Walmart is FEMA.
