Been thinking a bit about future features of IPFS, and was wondering how many of the below features would be easily achieved, and which would be impossible within the current framework? Public File System: A browse-able global or local file structure. Like a normal list of folders and files at your nearest peers. Basically like opening a faucet, and the stuff just pours out. Availability - Show number of peers. Set a limit like x no. of files to be shown or use x no. of GB for the file list index. Use placeholder files like BtSync does it. I guess FUSE implementation is currently only for local files? Browser plugin: Re-shares browsed web pages to ipfs, and checks availability on ipfs whenever you visit a website. Basically Invisible to the user
