Hello All! I have been following these comment updates via email, but I haven't  chimed in for a while.  Since my last post I have been working on a custom solution for what I hope to be completely generic IOT platform that will be totally customizable for any use case.  I am trying to make it not so complicated so that anyone will be able to customize it for their own use.  It is based on the Drupal Dist Open Atrium and the ECK module to build my custom data objects.  I hope to have it available for download withing the next month or so.  It uses Node-Red and Rest module in the back end to communicate with external IOT objects via ether http request or MQTT protocal.  I have been testing it to get data from my cell phone via Owntracks app, and node-red running on my Raspberry Pi to collect lots of other types of data.  I use IP Geo Location Maps & Tools module to map all  objects containing geo data, anc Charts module to graph all Temperature, Humidity, etc.  So far it is looking really good.  It can also import/export data into other  Drupal sites, including FarmOS, and Erpal, so that you can have multiple drupal projects feeding data to the IOT-Atrium site. Anyhow... lol I just thought I would share that with you all, in case anyone was interested.  I will share more soon.
