i'm trying to decide whether to make the switch to nix
i've been on arch for a few years, i am an engineer by trade

main thing i am looking for is isolation for my projects and not having to replicate config across machines manually
seems like i'm getting half of the isolation solved by docker
and i'm a little worried about switching to nix when i'm not going to get expect everyone else on the team to also switch to nix
thoughts welcome =)
my  current DE is spectrwm, i tend to build java, c, node, and python ... also a bit confused about how nvm/npm will work with nix in practice
