I am I am trying to wrap my head around nix, and I am having quite some trouble to get the gitlab service to run. All I am getting is a 502 page with the gitlab logo, indicating that "gitlab is taking too long to respond"

For a little bit more info: this is on my home network, I have two machines. My idea was to take my NAS (which I have for quite some time, running ubuntu currently) and use as the "stateful" part of the system, and to take a new machine and run nix only with the services that I'd like to have. For gitlab, things seem to be okay on the ubuntu machine: I created a postgresql db and I set the "statePath" parameter to some plce in the NFS mount.
