--- summary: Implement linuxfr.org style norloges --- created: 2015-02-19 15:14:55.0 creator: matthew description: |- LinuxFR.org chat implementation has an interesting feature called norloges - see linuxfr.org/wiki/tribune#les-horloges. These are timestamps which can also be used as unique(?) IDs for identifying messages for threading purposes. So when responding to a particular message in the past, you go and click on its timestamp, which copies the timestamp into your text entry box. Your response is thus tagged as a response to that particular message - providing a simple threading mechanism. It would be fun to use this as a UI backed by v2's 'relates-to' feature in order to implement basic threading. id: '11098' key: SYWEB-290 number: '290' priority: '3' project: '10004' reporter: matthew status: '10200' type: '2' updated: 2015-03-03 17:10:32.0 votes: '0' watches: '2' workflowId: '11198' --- actions: - author: kegan body: Blocked on v2 {{relates_to}} created: 2015-03-03 17:10:32.0 id: '11345' issue: '11098' type: comment updateauthor: kegan updated: 2015-03-03 17:10:32.0
