As announced previously, The Matrix Conference is set to take place in Malmö, Sweden, in October 2026.
While the Call for Proposals is still open until the end of June, we are happy to announce that you can buy a ticket for the Conference right now!
To ensure you get the best deal, don’t wait until the last minute to register. You have until the end of May to secure an Early Bird ticket and save up to 20% on the ticket price. This is also your chance to pre-order official merch and secure the right size for you. We will also sell merch at the Conference itself, with no guarantees that we will get your size in stock.
We also have a special opportunity for those who want to contribute their time to make the event a success. Volunteers who enroll for two shifts or more on our volunteering platform will get a free ticket and a special-edition zipper hoodie.
Volunteers will receive an exclusive version of the zipper hoodie in Sweden colors.

The Matrix.org Foundation is a non-profit and only relies on donations to operate. Its core mission is to maintain the Matrix Specification, but it does much more than that.
It maintains the matrix.org homeserver and hosts several bridges for free. It fights for our collective rights to digital privacy and dignity.
